Disconnected Reality

A disconnect from reality has occurred, for example with food. Because of fast food businesses and the common usage of grocery stores, we have lost the ability to connect our food with the preparation it took our fathers, grandfathers and their grandfathers. Today, we frequent the local grocery store, looking over the meat and know nothing about how the meat got there.

Have you ever gone to another country and seen the meat departments? Have you seen the marketer stalls lining the streets? Would you eat the meat sold through those vendors?

We need to learn to re-connect with the things our forefather’s taught their sons and daughters in regards to what we put into our mouths and bellies. Teach our young ones to hunt for what is real and for what will bring us to a better way of living, healthier life styles.

The noble man gave his servants 10 mina’s. Some prospered with them, bringing the noble man more wealth, while one hid and buried the only one he had, in fear of losing it and having nothing to give back, when the noble man returned.

What does water mean to you? Is it simply something to use and discard, wash clothes and body with, cook with or drink? Or is there a much deeper purpose for water? Look at the Samaritan woman. She took her bucket to the well to be filled with water, water that would dissipate and be absorbed into the body. She left her bucket at the well, but took the living well home with her. She invited town members to come and meet the living water.

  • She was the first female evangelist

With Jesus all things are possible

  • David and Goliath

  • David did not have 5 stones for Goliath in case he missed the first time

  • Goliath had four brothers

  • Moses and the Plagues

  • The Passover

  • The Staff

  • Moses and the Red Sea

  • Parting

  • The Tablets

  • Abraham and Sarah

  • Isaac’s birth

  • The Sacrifice

Getting down to business

  • When we are done doing business, what will we have gained?

  • What will we be able to report with did for His kingdom?

Never get tired of sharing the things God is doing in our lives. Don’t put the gifts He has given us, in a basket and forget what they are or what they are for.
